- What are your shipping and handling charges?
All shipments are F.O.B. our premises and are shipped via UPS Ground; shipping costs are added to your invoice. Canada Post XpressPost will be used for clients who use a P.O. Box. Rush shipments can be accommodated only for items that are currently in stock – please contact Customer Service at sales@visualed.com for title availability. Additional charges for Rush shipments will be added to your invoice. We can also ship collect using your provided courier account information.
- How soon will I get my order if shipped via Express Post?
Most in-stock orders will be delivered to your location within 2-10 business days. For items not currently in stock, please allow an additional 4-6 weeks for delivery. Please contact Customer Service for information regarding title availability and estimated shipping times at sales@visualed.com.
- What is the difference between Board/Circulation, School, and Public Library pricing? Board/Circulation prices are intended for school boards/districts, universities, colleges, government/community agencies, hospital and health agencies and businesses. Programs can be loaned or shared with other schools or institutions within a jurisdiction such as a school board/district.
School prices are offered to individual Canadian schools at the K-12 level. Use of the programs is restricted solely to the purchasing school. Programs are sold at school price for use at one site only and cannot be loaned, shared, circulated or donated to other campuses or to any other organization.
- I am a non-profit organization – will I receive a discount?
At this time, there is no standard discount for non-profit organizations. For additional information contact contact sales@visualed.com
- Can you sell programs to individuals who are not associated with an organization?
Please contact Customer Service at sales@visualed.com to check availability.
- Can I preview your titles prior to purchasing?
Many of the programs we offer are available for preview via our website www.visualed.com. To discuss online previews please contact customer service at sales@visualed.com
- What is your return policy?
Items may be returned if damaged, faulty or incorrectly shipped after receiving a “return authorization” from our Custom Service Department. Replacement items will be shipped to you at no cost. Otherwise orders are non-returnable, and non-refundable

- How do I pay for my order?
VEC accepts payment by cheque, money order, VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.

- My organization is tax-exempt – how do I ensure that I am not charged unnecessary taxes?
If your organization has a tax exemption certificate you are required to provide this when placing your order. Unless a certificate is provided taxes will be charged.
- What are your backorder policies?
Visual Education Centre holds all shipments until all items are in stock. We will ship partial orders on request and ship the balance of the order when products come into stock. Please note that partial shipments may be subject to additional shipping charges.
- Do you offer broadcast or duplication rights?
We do offer broadcast and duplication rights for many of our programs. For more information, please contact Customer Service at sales@visualed.com or 416-252-5907 ext. 257
- Do you offer titles that are closed-captioned/subtitled?
Many of our programs are closed-captioned.
- Do you sell to countries outside Canada?
